REALIZATION OF CSR DONATION FOR COVID-19 BY TEMPO SCAN GROUP TO THE COMMUNITY THROUGH INDONESIAN RED CROSS (PMI) & SOCIAL INSTUTION

Tempo Scan Group (“TSG”) has again realized the donation of TSG CSR COVID-19 through the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) in the form of health care products such as medicines, vitamins, children milk, and soaps worth Rp 250,000,000 (two hundred fifty million Rupiah) to help overcome COVID-19. The donation was given directly by the Vice President Director of PT Tempo Scan Pacific, Tbk I Made Dharma Wijaya to the Chairman of PMI, M. Jusuf Kalla.

This is a part of TSG CSR donation for COVID-19 pandemic relief (TSG CSR COVID-19) amounted to a total of Rp 17,500,000,000 (seventeen billion five hundred million Rupiah), as announced in the TSG Press Release dated 31 March 2020. The donation shall be provided to related Government Institutions in the forms of Personal Protective Equipment (APD) for Indonesian Medical Workers and products of medicines, vitamins, beverages, children milk, hand sanitizers, disinfectants, soaps, floor cleaners, and others for helping the Indonesian community in need that is affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to this, TSG CSR has realized the donation worth Rp 10,000,000,000 (ten billion Rupiah) to BNPB as announced in the TSG Press Release dated 3 April 2020. The donation to BNPB is to help in procuring COVID-19 detection test devices, and further it has been given to the Eijkman Institute for Molecular Biology for their laboratory support. On 7 April 2020 TSG CSR also realized the donation to dr. Tirta, social activist, in the form of health care products worth Rp 300,000,000 (three hundred million Rupiah).

The whole donation of TSG is being realized in stages and strived to be completed by May 2020. The stages of realization shall be conducted transparently and well documented, as a form of accountability for TSG’s commitment to the donation.

TSG realizes that the donation is only a small part of what is needed by the Indonesian Medical Workers and Indonesian people who are suffering from the crisis of COVID-19 pandemic. It is expected that this effort is able to help Indonesia handle this COVID-19 pandemic more quickly so that everybody is able to go back to their normal activities.
